1. Overview
TeraBoxDL is a client-side utility for opening public file links, downloading files to your device, and helping you manage local downloads.
We designed the app to minimize data collection and avoid creating user accounts or gathering unnecessary personal information.
2. Information Stored On Your Device
The app stores download history, download state, app preferences, and your acknowledgment of the user responsibility notice locally on your device.
This local data is used strictly to restore your in-app experience and manage active or completed downloads.
3. Information Processed During Downloads
When you paste a public link into the app, it sends that link directly to the destination host to inspect or download the file.
The app does not maintain its own file-hosting backend, generate hidden download links, or bypass any access controls.
4. Advertising
Google AdMob is used to display banner, interstitial, rewarded, and rewarded interstitial ads. AdMob may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and diagnostic information according to Google policies.
Ad availability may vary by device, region, build status, and Google policy enforcement.
5. Permissions
Network Access: The app requests standard internet access to load public file links, retrieve metadata, and display ads.
Storage Permissions: The app uses Android storage access only when you choose to export a downloaded file to a public device folder (e.g., Downloads). It does not request broad legacy storage permissions.
