Terabox Downloader Chrome Extension
Stream or download TeraBox videos straight from the page you are on
The TeraBoxDL extension adds a one-click shortcut to the same downloader you can use below. Prefer not to install anything? Paste a link here instead.
What the extension does
The extension sits in your browser toolbar and watches for TeraBox pages. When you open a TeraBox share link, it shows a small badge on the extension icon and a floating notice on the page, so you know a download is one click away.
Click the icon and the popup opens with the TeraBox URL already filled in. From there you can choose Stream to watch the video right away or Download to get a direct download link. If you are not on a TeraBox page, paste any TeraBox link into the box or use the paste button to pull it from your clipboard.
- Automatic detection of TeraBox pages, including terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxapp.com and other TeraBox domains
- Stream or download from the popup with one click
- Recent download history so you can reload an earlier link
- Copy button for sharing a link
- Light and dark themes
How to install the Terabox downloader extension
- Open the TeraBoxDL extension page on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm the permissions prompt.
- Open the puzzle-piece menu in the toolbar and pin the extension so the icon stays visible.
- Visit any TeraBox share link. The badge appears on the icon when the page is detected.
- Click the icon, then choose Stream or Download.
Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge and Brave can usually install extensions from the Chrome Web Store as well.
Extension or website: which should you use?
Both use the same downloader, so the results are the same. The extension saves you the copy-and-paste step when you spend a lot of time on TeraBox pages on a desktop computer.
The website needs no installation, works in any browser, and is the better choice on phones and tablets, where desktop Chrome extensions are not available. If you are on a phone, see the guides for downloading Terabox on iPhone or the Android app.
Privacy
The extension does not collect personal data and does not store your files. The download history it shows is kept locally on your device, and you can clear it from the popup at any time. For how the website handles data, read the privacy policy.
Extension not working? Quick checks
- Reload the TeraBox page after installing. The badge only appears on pages loaded after the install.
- Open chrome://extensions and make sure the extension is switched on and allowed on the sites you use.
- If the popup is empty, paste the TeraBox link into the box manually.
- If a download does not start, allow pop-ups for the TeraBox page or the downloader tab.
- Still stuck? Try the downloader on this page directly, or read Terabox link not working.
The extension is most useful if you open TeraBox links on a desktop several times a week. For an occasional download, pasting the link into this page is just as quick.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Terabox downloader extension free?
TeraBoxDL is free to use and the extension adds a shortcut to the same tool. You do not need a TeraBox account or login.
Does the extension work in Firefox or Safari?
The supported install route is the Chrome Web Store listing. In Firefox or Safari, use the downloader on this website instead.
Can I use the extension on my phone?
No. Chrome on Android and iOS does not run desktop extensions. Use the website in your mobile browser, which works without an app.
Why does the badge not appear on a TeraBox page?
Reload the page after installing the extension and check that the address is a TeraBox domain. If it still does not appear, paste the link into the extension popup manually.
Where is my download history stored?
Only on your own device, inside the extension. It is not uploaded, and you can clear it from the popup.
